Daily Snapshot (All numbers in USD)
Yesterday didn’t end on a high note. It was actually my lowest ROAS day since I started documenting this ecommerce journey. I barely scraped out a little profit, so I’ll take it, but still… rough day.
That’s the thing with this game though, not every day is going to be a 2+ ROAS day. You’ve got to roll with the highs and the lows without overreacting. I try not to make rash decisions based on one bad day and usually look at the past 7 days of performance before I start tweaking campaigns.
That said, I did make a few store updates yesterday. I added upsells on the thank-you and order confirmation pages for two related products tied to my main winner.
The AI chatbot I installed is also starting to pull its weight. It’s already handled 6 conversations and even helped close 1 sale. Not bad for something I just added.
On top of that, I redesigned my FAQ page, cleaned up some irrelevant questions and added a live chatbot button at the bottom for anyone who still needs help.
And lastly, I started setting up a Google Ads campaign. I’ll be honest, I’ve always found Google Ads way more complicated than Meta. It just takes more work to get it right. Right now, I’m building audiences, checking all my tags, and setting up a PMAX campaign with a $50/day test budget. I won’t launch it for a couple of days until I’ve ironed out the kinks, but it’s in motion.
